Wanson Group adds first Marriott-brand hotel to portfolio
Wanson Group is adding another hotel to the portfolio — the third in our continual growth in this sector.
We are excited to officially announce the acquisition of our first Marriott brand hotel — Fairfield Inn & Suites Edmonton North Hotel.
Built in 2016, this modern hotel is a 4-storey concrete built, with 102 guest rooms. Guests can also enjoy a 24-hour gym centre, and an indoor pool with a water slide.
Situated just north of Downtown Edmonton in the Griesbach neighbourhood, this prime location is surrounded by shopping malls, restaurants, and retail stores – providing immediate access to convenient shopping and amenities.

More notably, this Marriott franchise hotel is a 15-minute drive away from Edmonton’s most vibrant communities in the downtown core, such as the Blatchford neighbourhood, Edmonton Northlands, and the Yellowhead Corridor, as well as 20-minutes drive to West Edmonton Mall.
In addition to the new Fairfield Inn & Suites, the two other hotel in Wanson Group’s portfolio include Clarion Hotel & Conference Centre in Abbotsford, and Quality Inn Victoria.
